Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our metal fabrication team as a Storeperson. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience and mentorship from qualified tradespeople.

The ideal candidate will be:

Duties will include:

  • Taking receipt of incoming materials and ensuring they are correctly stored for the manufacturing process
  • Providing support to tradespeople during fabrication and assembly using hand tools
  • Couriering items to and from customers and suppliers via company vehicles
  • Maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail when processing raw materials
  • Ensuring a safe working environment for colleagues
  • Organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines
  • Maintaining factory order with pride
  • Exhibiting self-motivation, a positive work ethic, and a commitment to ongoing training
  • Displaying a willingness to learn and work within a team environment
  • Possessing a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Holding a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle (preferred)
  • Forklift license (required)
  • Overhead crane license (beneficial)
