Job Title: Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our R&D Laboratory in Liverpool, NSW. As a Laboratory Technician, you will conduct destructive and non-destructive tests on cables, report to the Lab Manager, and perform various duties including testing new materials to Australian Standards, product release and batch testing, tabulation and collation of results, calibration of instruments, and writing and reviewing internal test procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct testing and analysis of cables to ensure compliance with Australian Standards
  • Perform product release and batch testing to ensure quality and safety
  • Tabulate and collate results for reporting and analysis
  • Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy and precision
  • Write and review internal test procedures to ensure compliance and quality
Requirements:
  • Strong safety awareness and understanding of policies and procedures
  • Previous product testing experience (QA or QC)
  • Good communication and literacy skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to make sound quality decisions
  • Basic Mathematics
  • Basic PC skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised
