About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic professional to work on a range of cutting-edge, large-scale developments across various industries.

Job Description
  • Preparation of concept design, schematic design, design development, tender, and construction documentation;
  • Preparation of design calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports;
  • Reviewing drawings, responding to RFI's, and resolving on-site issues;
  • Attending project meetings with clients;
  • Site inspections to ensure high-quality construction works;
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to manage projects effectively and produce high-quality designs;
  • Maintenance of accurate electronic reporting and submission of advice, relevant information, and forms;
  • Continued improvement of designs by staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in the building services electrical discipline, with expertise across major market sectors, including residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and education;
  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent in electrical or building services;
  • An inquisitive mindset with a passion for innovative problem-solving;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Well-honed knowledge of Australian standards and building codes;
  • Exceptional influencing and negotiating skills, with the ability to build rapport and gain trust with diverse stakeholders;
  • A drive and determination to flourish and thrive in a learning environment.
