In this exciting opportunity, you will be working as a Maintenance Team Leader at our Glendale Residential Aged Care Facility in Mount Louisa. As part of our exceptional team, your primary focus will be on ensuring the condition and appearance of our facility meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance tasks to maintain the facility's infrastructure.
  • Coordinate the management of maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Provide high-level customer service to residents, staff, and visitors by addressing their needs promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to maintenance activities.
  • Manage budgets effectively to optimize resources.
  • Comply with legislative standards regarding maintenance, workplace health and safety, and manual handling.

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of maintenance procedures, commercial construction practices, and domestic building codes.
  • Experience in contractor management and coordination.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation, codes, and standards.
  • An empathetic understanding of aged persons' living requirements and a willingness to adapt to their needs.
  • A Certificate IV qualification or significant relevant experience in a similar role.
  • A valid open manual driver's license (Class C).
