We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Specialist to join our team at Concentis. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in implementing, designing, and developing Health, Safety, and Environmental programs/projects to support activities across our port and refinery in North Queensland.
About the Role:
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental programs based on operational needs, ensuring compliance with government regulations and internal policies.
- Manage and collate environmental data for non-compliance or anticipated issues, providing advice and practical changes.
- Coordinate and deliver activities relating to hazard management, risk assessment, health and wellbeing, and incident investigations.
- Identify potential improvement opportunities and implement changes to enhance safety and compliance.
Requirements:
- HSE procedural background and safety generalist knowledge.
- Commitment to health and safety policies both internally and externally.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Ability to prioritize conflicting tasks and adapt to daily changes.
- Management of conflicting priorities and site practices, ensuring safe and compliant outcomes.
