About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Buildcorp. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees, subcontractors, and clients on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees and subcontractors on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure health and safety is integrated into project planning and delivery.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a health and safety role in the construction industry.
  • Construction Safety Induction (white) card.
  • Occupational First Aid certificate.
  • At least a Cert IV in OHS/WHS.
