About the Role:
  • Patient transfers using equipment such as hoists, slides, bed movers, and wheelchairs.
  • Ensuring adherence to infection prevention protocols at all times.
  • Bed making and discharge cleans.
  • Patient discharge assistance.
  • Mortuary transfers.
  • Ward equipment, cleaning, and transferring.
  • Supporting clinical staff with patient care tasks as directed.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting, with a focus on patient services and support. Strong knowledge of infection control and hygiene practices is essential for this role.

You will be responsible for supporting clinical teams in delivering high-quality patient care, while maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

To ensure your success in this role, you will bring the following qualifications and skills: Certificate III in Health Services Assistance, Food Handlers Certificate – Level 1, and intermediate computer skills.
