About This Role:

This is a nursing position that involves working closely with patients to provide high-quality care and support. The successful candidate will participate in ongoing patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with healthcare teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in hourly rounding of patients to ensure timely intervention and prevent avoidable complications
  • Assist patients with transfers using designated aids and correct manual handling procedures to promote safe movement and minimize risk of injury
  • Provide assistance with daily living needs, including showering and bed washes, as per patient care plans
  • Follow established patient care protocols and meet activities of daily living needs
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or above in health-related studies, such as Certificate III in Individual Support or Diploma of Nursing
  • Evidence of vaccination against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Hepatitis B, and COVID-19, as per public health guidelines
  • Tuberculosis screening, as required by local health authorities
  • Declaration of serious discipline history, if applicable
