About the Role

  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations for enhancing capacity in suicide prevention surveillance and evaluation to inform data-driven strategies.
  • Establish and support implementation of systems for monitoring and reporting on comprehensive pathways of care for suicide-related presentations across partner hospitals and health services in Queensland and PHNs, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration.

About You

  • A relevant postgraduate qualification in a related field such as psychology, health sciences, or public health is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading complex projects, managing competing priorities, and working effectively under pressure to achieve organisational objectives.
  • High level communication, consultation, negotiation, and liaison skills including strong writing capabilities and ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, establish priorities, and contribute to team success by driving results-oriented outcomes.
