Job Title: Technical Leader for Cloud Services

 

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to support our Managed Service Provider (MSP) Program in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). This senior-level position will help AWS Partners across the region build world-class managed services practices by defining technical standards, providing architectural guidance, and enabling Partners to better serve our customers.

 

About You:

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in technology and experience working with Partners. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders across APJ and globally, including travel to Partner and AWS events approximately 5-10 times annually.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning the creation and execution of the technical strategy for the AWS MSP Program in APJ.
  • Driving improvements in Partners' technical capabilities through scalable mechanisms.
  • Defining technical validation criteria and best practices for the MSP Program.
  • Building and leading a community of Solutions Architects focused on MSP enablement.
  • Working backwards from Partner needs to influence AWS service roadmaps.
  • Authoring technical content, delivering presentations, and creating enablement materials.

 

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
  • Deep technical expertise across AWS services.
  • Experience with managed services, cloud operations, and enterprise architecture.
  • Strong track record of technical leadership and community building.
