Afternoon Shift Manager Job Opportunity

This role is pivotal in blending the responsibilities of a Warehouse and Inventory Manager with those of a Production Manager for the afternoon shift.

  • Oversee production processes during the afternoon shift, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
  • Manage inventory levels and implement effective inventory control measures.
  • Oversee logistics team to ensure timely and accurate distribution of finished products.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor production and warehouse staff, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to team members.
  • Monitor equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning.
  • Implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Analyse production data and identify areas for improvement.

Our ideal candidate possesses:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in food production or manufacturing.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the food production industry is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire a diverse team.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and warehouse operations.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
