We are currently looking for experienced Lineworkers to join our esteemed client in a hands-on role that involves performing public lighting line works, including the installation and maintenance of streetlights. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform all public lighting line works associated with the contracts, including the replacement of streetlights with new LED lights.
- Ensure all equipment, including vehicles, plant, and materials, are maintained in good condition.
- Provide timely reporting on work progress, quality standards, and work practices.
- Safely operate machinery such as elevated work platforms, often working at heights.
- Work in a live electrical environment, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Utilise an iPad to receive and complete work tasks efficiently.
- Contribute to process improvements and increased efficiency in daily operations.
- Maintain excellent customer and public relations, ensuring a positive company image.
- Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Overhead or Australian equivalent.
- Construction Industry White Card.
- High Risk Licences (Elevating Work Platform, Dogging, and Rigging).
- Victorian Lineworker Registration.
- A current MR or HR Driver's License.
- Current VESI Skills passport with up-to-date training is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience in distribution line work, adhering to industry standards.
- Thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements.
- Ability to solve technical problems and adapt to varying work conditions, including adverse weather.
- Commitment to achieving the highest standards of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality performance.
