Senior Leadership Position: Professional Development and Member Engagement

Job Summary:

Seeking an accomplished professional to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of major conferences, forums, and engagement events. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and a proven track record of driving innovation in learning models.

  • Develop and implement a refreshed CPD strategy, ensuring compliance with accreditation frameworks and introducing innovative learning models.
  • Lead the design and delivery of strategic programs that enhance member engagement and create value for members across all career stages.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to strengthen professional development pathways and engagement initiatives.
  • Manage budgets, oversee relationships with external suppliers, and lead a high-performing team to ensure operational excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in senior roles within events, education, professional development, and/or membership strategy.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
  • Strategic leadership experience, including team management and driving organisational priorities.
  • Expertise in CPD, accreditation, and modern learning models.
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
