The Supreme Court of Victoria is seeking a legally qualified individual to join the team as an Associate to the Honourable Justice Moore.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working in the Common Law Division of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
The role involves assisting with the production of judgments, including proofreading and editing, as well as clerking in court and reviewing files and orders.
Other duties include performing administrative tasks, such as maintaining court records and preparing material for use by the judge in court, and preparing research memoranda.
The Associate will also assist the judge with his duties in managing the Trusts, Equity and Probate List and liaise with court staff, the public, the media and the profession.
About YouWe are looking for a qualified individual with a strong academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have two years of post-qualification experience and be able to confidently and effectively liaise with the profession and members of the public.
