Job Summary:

As a Warehouse Maintenance Associate at Costco Wholesale, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our warehouse and grounds. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain warehouse floors, offices, break rooms, and restrooms, including operating self-propelled floor scrubbing machinery and sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces.
  • Empty trash from designated areas and pull merchandise slip sheets and loose cardboard from the sales floor.
  • Check the daily schedule for assigned routine tasks and maintenance repair jobs.
  • Follow safety and security procedures, including tagging and locking off power access when working on electrical equipment and wearing safety goggles when using the compactor and baler.
  • Paint, replace bulbs, maintain equipment, and perform routine repairs throughout the warehouse.
  • Maintain the grounds outside the warehouse, including blowing leaves, picking up litter, roof checks, and building maintenance.
  • Provide prompt and courteous member service.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
