Our client is a global Tier 1 contractor who has secured new projects across transmission, EHV substations, and renewables — including solar farms, wind farms, and large-scale BESS. They are investing in growing their internal engineering team to bring electrical design in-house, creating opportunities for a Senior Electrical Engineer who wants to be hands-on and involved in delivering major projects.

Key responsibilities
Work with the Senior Engineers to oversee the engineering activities and technical design aspects of the projects
Concept and detailed designs, technical investigations, tender assessment & contract technical specifications
Analyse electrical system requirements, capacity, cost, and project needs
Foster a culture of teamwork within the engineering team and across the wider business to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
What you'll bring
Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer on major energy projects (HV/EHV Substations, Transmission Lines, Renewable Energy)
Proven detailed design experience
Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., BSc Engineering)
CPEng or eligibility to obtain
Membership (or eligibility) with a relevant engineering institution (e.g., Engineers Australia)
