Trainee in Elder Care

The role of a trainee in our care facility is to provide essential support and assistance to elderly clients. This entails helping them with daily tasks, such as personal grooming and bathing.

  • Providing personal care and ensuring dignity
  • Meal preparation and serving
  • Household maintenance, including laundry and cleaning duties
  • Assisting clients with mobility and arranging transportation
  • Communicating with family members regarding client updates
  • Organizing social activities for our clients

This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in elder care while developing important skills. It involves working closely with a team of dedicated professionals who share a passion for delivering exceptional care.

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must possess certain qualifications and attributes:

  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination
  • Influenza vaccination
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance
  • National police check

Additionally, we require candidates to have strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

On-the-job training will be provided, along with nationally recognized qualifications. You will have access to ongoing support from a field officer throughout your journey.
