Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to support the operation of Melbourne's largest bus franchise contract at Kinetic. The successful candidate will be part of our high-performing teams in Doncaster, Thomastown, and North Fitzroy depots.
About the Role
As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including general maintenance and repair, major engine component rebuilds, and diagnostic work on several vehicle makes and models. You will also have the opportunity to participate in our electric vehicle upskill program to become dual-trade qualified (Diesel & Electric).

Requirements
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
- Previous experience in providing maintenance and repairs to heavy commercial fleet.
- Minimum MR license (HR license or above preferred but not essential).
- Exposure to diagnostics via computer-controlled systems is a bonus.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
