Heavy Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our high-performing teams in Melbourne's largest bus franchise contract. As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and repairs to our fleet of heavy commercial vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with heavy commercial vehicles, including engine and transmission problems
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to share knowledge and best practices
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
- Previous experience in providing maintenance and repairs to heavy commercial fleet
- Minimum MR license (HR license or above preferred but not essential)
- Exposure to diagnostics via computer-controlled systems is a bonus
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
