Academic Expertise Opportunities for Collaborative Learning

UNSW Australia is seeking expressions of interest from qualified professionals to join its community of casual teaching fellows in 2024 courses.
The School of Global and Public Law at UNSW Law & Justice offers a dynamic and interactive learning environment where students engage with world-leading public law and comparative and international law researchers. As a casual teaching fellow, you will be part of this vibrant academic community, contributing to the development of our students through participatory teaching methods that foster an appreciation of the connection between law and justice.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Masters or PhD degree in law or another relevant discipline; or
- A Bachelor's degree in law or another relevant discipline plus at least 2 years of in-depth professional and/or educational experience that demonstrates advanced legal knowledge, independent learning, critical thinking and problem solving and communication and interaction skills.
Teaching vacancies vary from Term to Term, depending on availability of permanent staff, course offerings and student enrolments. Employment is therefore offered on a Term basis. All employment details, including the duties required, duration of employment and relevant pay rates, will be confirmed with the successful applicant(s) prior to the commencement of duty.
We offer competitive remuneration for this role, with an estimated annual salary of AU$60,000 - AU$90,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
