Behaviour Support Practitioner Role

This role is an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise and passion for disability support. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based, person-centred, and outcome-focused support to NDIS participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist individuals with needs assessment and person-centred planning.
  • Develop and deliver complex support plans within various settings.
  • Create meaningful goals and strategies based on positive behaviour support principles.
  • Align individual plans with participants' goals, passions, and strengths.
  • Build capacity and knowledge among supporters.
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and mentor less experienced practitioners.
Requirements:
  • Current suitability at Proficient or Advanced level.
  • Extensive experience supporting individuals with behaviours of concern.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Genuine passion for disability support.
