Australian Regional Leadership Initiative

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Australian Regional Leadership Initiative (ARLI) Delegations. As part of our Government Relations team, you will play a crucial role in delivering on our vision of a better world for children.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Australia's political landscape, government processes, and international aid and development policy. You will be responsible for developing project plans, designing impactful program itineraries, and contributing to mapping and review of attitudes and influence of Australian parliamentarians, philanthropists, and others.
With your expertise in policy development, research, and advocacy, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve our goals. Your excellent influencing skills, rapport building abilities, and demonstrated experience in high-level policy and advocacy roles will be invaluable assets to our team.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience

Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of Australia's political landscape, government processes, and international aid and development policy
- Expertise in policy development, research, and advocacy
- High-level policy and advocacy experience, preferably in relation to aid and development policy
- Genuine interest in travel to developing countries and working with local communities
- Outstanding rapport building, networking & relationship building abilities, as well as demonstrated influencing skills
