Job Title

Distance Education Teacher Science Role

We are seeking an experienced Distance Education Teacher to join our dedicated team of professionals at Finigan School of Distance Education. As a Distance Education Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programs and experiences to students in remote and rural areas.

The successful candidate will have the ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments that cater to the diverse needs of students, including those with disabilities and English language learners.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver live web lessons and provide personalized feedback to students.
  • Develop and implement innovative curriculum programs that meet the needs of distance education students.
  • Maintain open communication channels with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and collaborative environment.
  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives and work collaboratively with faculty members to achieve shared goals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Qualifications:
  • A degree in Education or a related field.
  • Approval to teach Science (7-10) and Physics (Stage 6).
