A leading institution seeks a dedicated professional to teach secondary distance education. The ideal candidate will possess an active Christian faith, a suitable qualification and accreditation with NESA.

The role involves planning, preparing and delivering effective learning programs for students in allocated classes. This includes contributing to the development and implementation of school objectives and planning.

Key requirements include excellent teaching skills as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers, and the capacity to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.

Built on three key principles - Explicit Direct Instruction, Specific Targeted Feedback, and Thinking Through Writing - our pedagogical approach is informed by leading experts in the field. This includes Cognitive Load Theory and the work of Hollingsworth and Ybarra.
