Key Responsibilities:
Your primary duties will include:
- Overseeing the recruitment and ongoing evaluation of foster carers to ensure high-quality care for children and young individuals.
- Delivering therapeutic interventions aimed at improving family dynamics and safeguarding children’s welfare.
- Conducting initial assessments and developing comprehensive case plans tailored to individual needs.
- Providing leadership and mentorship to your team, fostering a culture of excellence and compliance with legislative requirements.
- Managing workforce aspects within your area of responsibility to achieve organizational goals.
About You:
You are a results-driven leader with a proven track record in child protection and out-of-home care. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and your comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation will be key to your success in this role. You possess:
- A recognized qualification in Social or Behavioral Sciences or a related field.
- At least two years of experience leading a multidisciplinary team in a child protection setting.
- Applied knowledge of child protection frameworks and experience in providing care services to children in statutory care.
- Strong financial management skills and familiarity with budgeting processes.
