Clinical Nurse Specialist Role Overview
At our healthcare institution, we are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide senior nursing clinical leadership in the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery within a nursing unit, team or service. The successful candidate will employ advanced clinical skills and exercise extended autonomy of decision making, working closely with managers and other senior clinicians.
The ideal candidate will have current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification. They will be able to prioritise and problem solve to manage the complex clinical care needs of patients through the development and use of clinical management plans.
In this role, you will be responsible for employing your highly developed written and verbal communication skills with advanced interpersonal and problem solving skills to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. We require the suitable candidate to possess cardiology experience with interest and experience in health education.
Key Responsibilities- Prioritise and problem solve to manage the complex clinical care needs of patients through the development and use of clinical management plans.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with advanced interpersonal and problem solving skills.
We are looking for a dedicated professional who possesses the following skills and qualifications:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
- Relevant post-registration qualifications.
- At least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification.
