Job Role

This role involves providing assistance to educators and students in an academic setting.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating tasks, communicating with parents, and providing support for students' physical care and wellbeing.

The specific responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing routine support for teachers including assisting with planning of student routines
  • Supporting communication between teachers and parents
  • Communicating with teachers on routine matters related to students and/or other responsibilities
  • Providing basic physical care and wellbeing support for students such as toileting, meals, and lifting
  • Communicating with students to support their understanding of basic tasks and information
  • Addressing immediate behavioral presentations relating to specific students within a classroom setting aligned to policy and procedure
  • Providing basic support and supervision for individuals or groups of up to 4 students within a classroom setting
