Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our client's portfolio of venues, each offering unique concepts and premium food and beverage experiences. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the venues, guiding your team in compliance, marketing, product development, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the successful operation of multiple venues, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and exceptional customer experiences.
- Lead a team of direct reports, fostering an inclusive and nurturing environment that promotes compliance, marketing, product development, and service excellence.
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance brand reputation.
- Manage financial performance, ensuring profitability and efficiency across the portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar group-level hospitality management role, with a strong track record of multi-site management.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Complete understanding of regulatory compliance across food, beverage, retail, and gaming in Queensland.
- Market-leading commercial acumen and financial analysis skills.
- Technical knowledge of pub operations and venue management.
- Considerable experience in venue marketing strategy and execution.
- Extensive understanding of HR best practices and a strategic outlook.
- Personal accountability and the discipline to work autonomously.
- Willingness to travel regularly.
