Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to provide personalized care and assistance to older adults and individuals with complex disabilities, empowering them to live independently and with dignity.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
  • Provide companionship, emotional support, and social engagement to clients
  • Advocate for clients' needs and actively participate in the development and implementation of their care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and progress
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and quality standards to ensure the well-being of clients
  • Collaborate with the broader care team to deliver a seamless and coordinated service
Requirements
  • Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in Aged Care or Disability Support
  • Have experience providing direct care and support to older adults or individuals with disabilities
  • Display strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
  • Exhibit compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to improving the quality of life for those in your care
  • Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Hold a current First Aid certificate and National Police Check
  • Possess a reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
