About the Role:

The Team Leader plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents at all times. They support the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to supervise and coordinate care across the home, ensuring individual needs, wishes, and goals are met in a supportive and respectful environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to take the next step in their career. The position is open to Endorsed Enrolled Nurses or Personal Care Workers with the necessary qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide social and emotional support to residents, ensuring care is holistic and person-centered.
  • Support the coordination of care needs, including medication management, nutrition, and hydration, pressure care management.
  • Lead and supervise care on the shift, within designated wings or areas.
  • Perform medicine-related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state or territory legislation, and Calvary policies.

About You:

  • Relevant qualifications: Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration to administer medication) or Certificate IV in Ageing Support (including HLTHPS007 Administer & Monitor Medicines) or Certificate III in Individual Support with a willingness to undertake training.
  • High level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
  • Effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand and use information technology and programs, and to learn new skills as required.
  • Current National police check.
  • Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
  • Desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organization.
