Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.

  • Ensure customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met and adhered to.
  • Manage the warehouse budget and financials, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Freight forwarding experience, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
  • Previous experience running a warehouse, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A strong safety focus, with a commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Continuous improvement experience, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
  • A current Forklift License, with experience operating heavy machinery.
  • Perishables experience is advantageous, with a strong understanding of temperature-controlled storage and handling.
