Business Advisory Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Services Professional to join our team on a part-time basis. The role involves preparing financial statements and income tax returns, as well as management accounting and strategic planning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed working papers for individuals, sole traders, companies, trusts, and SMSFs
  • Management accounting and strategic planning activities such as budgeting, forecasting, tax planning and business structuring
  • Prepare Business Activity Statements and state based tax returns such as payroll tax
  • Researching and consulting on a range of tax issues and drafting tax advice
  • Liaising with the ATO, clients, and other professionals to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks

The ideal candidate will have 4-5+ years Australian business services experience, including time at least at the senior accountant level. They will be able to manage their own time to work independently and prioritise tasks, and have strong skills in the Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel, and Xero, Practice Manager, and other accounting software.
