Urology Specialist Job Opportunity

The Urology Department is seeking a skilled and experienced Visiting Medical Officer to provide high-quality clinical care to patients with urology conditions.

This position requires the successful candidate to possess strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team environment.

  • Provide specialist clinical management for adult and pediatric urology patients, ensuring evidence-based practices are implemented throughout their care journey.
  • Coordinate referrals to other specialists and subspecialties as needed, maintaining seamless patient transitions.
  • Supervise junior medical staff and ensure they receive comprehensive training and support to develop their skills and knowledge.
Key Qualifications:
  • Hold a primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Urology) or equivalent overseas trained specialist pathways.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in urology, showcasing a deep understanding of the field and its complexities.
  • Maintain ongoing professional development, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the department.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills, able to convey complex information effectively to patients, students, and healthcare professionals alike.
