Job Title: Application Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Infrastructure Specialist to join our Business Technology team. This role offers a broad scope of responsibilities, including the analysis, design, build, and support of application infrastructure using Microsoft Azure, Windows, and SQL Server technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of VMware and Hyper-V virtualisation platforms, as well as demonstrated ability to deliver secure and scalable technology solutions in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse, design, build, and support application infrastructure using Microsoft Azure, Windows, and SQL Server technologies.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions aligned with project priorities.
  • Monitor and optimise performance of databases and applications, ensuring compliance with IT policies.
  • Manage operational technology systems and underlying server infrastructure.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, training, and change management processes are maintained.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven capability in Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, and SQL Server technologies.
  • Strong understanding of VMware and Hyper-V virtualisation platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver secure and scalable technology solutions in complex environments.
  • Proficiency in cryptography, PowerShell scripting, and system integration.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
