Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Infrastructure Engineering Specialist to join our dynamic team supporting critical government service delivery. This role involves implementing, managing, and retiring infrastructure that supports digital services, with a strong focus on security administration and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recommend, evaluate, and deploy hardware and related software assets.
  • Resolve complex infrastructure-related incidents and problems.
  • Manage network infrastructure (WAN, LAN, WLAN, firewalls, routers, switches).
  • Oversee computing infrastructure (data centres, mainframes, midrange systems, servers, desktops).
  • Lead and guide technical teams with a high degree of independence.
  • Maintain accurate security records and ensure compliance with security procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Mainframe Assembler, NCL, CLIST, REXX, and zSecure Carla.
  • Deep technical knowledge of CA-ACF2 and IBM RACF, including integration with MFA, Digital Certificates, and PassTicket.
  • Strong understanding of SIEM technologies and ability to develop Use Cases for Mainframe event ingestion.
