The Role

Sandvik Mining is seeking multiple Warehouse Workers for the Heatherbrae Operations to provide warehouse and distribution services to both internal and external customers.

As a key member of the team, you will assist in day-to-day operations and activities in the Warehouse, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Areas of Responsibility
  1. Liaise with management, suppliers, and customers regarding stores' operations.
  2. Weigh, ship, receive, or deliver goods, incorporating dispatcher functions.
  3. Receive, receipt, pick, pack, and dispatch spare parts and materials.
  4. Assist with inventory control.
  5. Prepare shipping documentation.
  6. Enter detailed data into Sandvik IT systems.
  7. Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  8. Conduct stock cycle counting and full stock takes.
  9. Implement quality control techniques and procedures.
  10. Perform general warehouse maintenance and housekeeping.
Your Profile

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a warehouse or stores environment, preferably in Heavy Mining or Equipment Manufacturing.

You will need a current Forklift license and be comfortable with new systems and processes.

You should be computer literate in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with OH&S policies and procedures.

You will have drive, flexibility, high energy levels, and enthusiasm, along with excellent communication and customer relations skills.

You will also be able to collaborate with members of the wider team and adapt to flexible shift work and rosters.

To be eligible for this role, you must have the right to live and work in Australia.
