POSITION SUMMARY

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in organizing storage areas and maintaining our inventory. Your job will be to prepare and fulfill orders fast and accurately so we can provide high-quality customer service. The main duties revolve around placing incoming orders on shelves and picking merchandise according to schedule requirements. You will monitor inventory and communicate any shortages.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Ensure proper unloading of shipments, utilizing material handling equipment as needed.
  2. Conduct regular inspections of incoming shipments to identify and resolve any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues.
  3. Organize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts, pallets, cranes etc.
  4. Receive and check incoming pick tickets.
  5. Pick hardware, laminate & trim products for production.
  6. Pull material to fulfill orders properly.
  7. Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system, including stock levels, locations, and movements.
  8. Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to reconcile any discrepancies and ensure inventory accuracy.
  9. Monitor inventory and suggest replenishments when necessary.
  10. Participate in 5S and inventory reduction activities.
  11. Maintain the Rack & Bin system both physically and in the computer system.
  12. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful Store In A Box (SIB) execution.
  1. Fulfill orders by pulling materials based on pick tickets, packaging them for shipment/SIB, and preparing them for delivery.
  2. Support the organization and optimization of warehouse storage areas, ensuring efficient space utilization and easy access to products.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, sales, and customer service, to resolve any order-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  4. Follow proper handling and storage procedures for hazardous materials, adhering to safety regulations and industry best practices.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, including regular housekeeping activities.
  6. Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance productivity, accuracy, and efficiency within the shipping and warehouse operations.
  7. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Experience as a Shipping and Warehouse Associate or similar role in a logistics or distribution environment.
  2. Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling equipment.
  3. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  4. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
  6. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
  7. Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  8. Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  9. 1-2 years of experience in using warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks).
  10. Strong communication skills.
  11. Dexterity and attention to detail.
  12. Organizational skills.
  13. Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (at least up to 50lbs).
  14. License to operate forklifts.
WORK CONDITIONS
  1. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  2. Required to work in a manufacturing environment which contains loud noises.
  3. Hours of work – Monday to Friday from 7:00am-3:45pm.
