As a Clinician, you will provide comprehensive, evidence-based care, including clinical coordination, psychological, and psychosocial interventions. You'll lead both individual and group therapy, helping to improve the mental health and wellbeing of older adults.
About the ProgramC2BMe offers low- and medium-intensity interventions, ensuring aged care residents with mental illness receive the same level of care available in the broader community. Our person-centred approach includes both group and individual therapies delivered by skilled allied health professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide therapeutic intervention to older individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues.
- Conduct assessments, including bio-psychosocial and risk assessments, and track outcomes.
- Facilitate group therapy, such as art and reminiscing therapy.
- Attend regular clinical review meetings, group supervision, and operational supervision.
- Work autonomously, managing your own schedule and caseload.
- Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing (RN), Occupational Therapy, or Counselling.
- Registration with relevant professional bodies (APA, PACFA, or AASW).
- 1–2 years' experience in mental health intervention.
- A valid driver's license and own vehicle.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records.
- Ability to work autonomously and stay organised.
- Experience working in aged care facilities.
- Providing mental health support to older adults.
