Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to lead our health club team and drive members to achieve their goals as a Club Operations Manager.

The Role:

Drive fitness key performance indicators including member retention and reduced attrition. Contribute to the centre's strategic direction, continuous improvement and leadership.

About You:

The ideal applicant will possess the following experience, qualifications and skills:

  • Previous experience and success in a comparable role such as Club Management or Gym Operations.
  • Energetic, innovative and decisive leadership style with ability to motivate and guide staff.
  • Target planning and monitoring experience with ability to set and meet targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with staff, members and stakeholders.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Fitness or higher qualification.
  • Good knowledge of health club protocols and customer expectations with ability to provide exceptional service.
  • Experience in managing conflict resolution and delivery of high level customer service.
  • Experience in leading a team, managing rosters and employee relations as required.
  • First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2).
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Working With Children Check.
  • Computer literacy, familiarity with software packages and point of sale systems.
  • Fitness Australia (or equivalent) registration.
  • National Criminal Records Check.
