Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Patient Liaison & Admissions Officer to join our team at Healthscope. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth admission process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Admissions Management: Effectively manage all patient admissions via our Emergency Department, including preparation of relevant documentation and collection of patient payments.
  • Patient Liaison: Provide high-quality patient care, responding to patients and stakeholders in a timely, efficient, friendly, and courteous manner.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring positive patient experiences and maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous administrative experience in a frontline customer-facing environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Computer Literacy: Good standard of computer literacy, with experience in using software applications and systems.
Working Conditions

This is a casual position, working within a 24/7 roster. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including overnight shifts. You must be available to work a minimum of 7.6 hours per shift.
