Job Title: Employment Expert

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Employment Expert.

As an Employment Expert, you will play a vital role in supporting and guiding clients to achieve sustainable employment outcomes. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in managing the referral and intake process of job seekers into our chosen programs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing job seeker skills and abilities to identify barriers and intervention strategies.
  • Developing and maintaining work preparation strategies, job seeking strategies, tailored interventions, and employment support activities.
  • Reversing market job seekers to achieve sustainable employment opportunities.
  • Providing pre-employment assistance through vocational counselling, training, job search skills, and work trials/work experience to increase capacity for employment.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A self-driven and resilient approach, with strong communication skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to use computer systems effectively and maintain accurate data and notes.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to grow and maintain relationships with clients, peers, and job seekers.
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening check or willingness to obtain one.
