About the Role
As a Senior Analyst at BOQ Group, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our models. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about creating cutting-edge tools that streamline validation processes.
The Senior Analyst supports the Senior Manager to validate BOQ Group's models and ensure they meet our high standards. Key responsibilities include conducting walkthroughs of key processes and models, identifying risks, and proposing innovative solutions. Additionally, you will dive into data, extracting and analysing information from key systems to support your findings.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Coding experience in at least one of VBA, Python, C++, R, SAS or SQL is essential, as well as advanced Excel skills. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Physics, Actuarial Studies, Mathematics or Economics is required, and a postgraduate degree in similar subjects is desirable.
Additionally, you must have the ability to grasp and explain both quantitative and qualitative risk management concepts. A keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to checking the accuracy of your work are also crucial. You will be expected to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
