Job Overview

The Business Development function plays a pivotal role in driving growth and expansion across the Asia-Pacific region.

  • Drive business growth by supporting and managing the bid process from inception to submission, building winning tenders that meet client needs and enable high-quality delivery and innovation.
  • Lead and support Business Development throughout Asia-Pacific, with a focus on major donors operating in the region.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with clients across the region through regular engagement to understand needs, foster trust, and identify opportunities for future collaboration.

This role requires a strong understanding of international development strategies, including climate change, sustainable infrastructure, gender and social inclusion, transnational security, and economic governance. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in bid writing, particularly for projects funded by major donors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conceive and execute regional business growth and engagement strategies.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and position oneself as a thought leader in the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Lead and support the identification and recruitment of consultants and technical advisers to resource program teams.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, including report writing and presenting information. A degree in a relevant subject is required, with a Master's degree preferred. Experience in international development, governmental, and multilateral sectors is advantageous.
