About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Medical Receptionist and Administrative Assistant to join our General Practice Clinic at Macquarie University Hospital in North Ryde.
The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative skills, a passion for healthcare, and experience in providing high-quality support services to clinicians and patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support and liaise with patients in person and over the phone
- Manage patient appointments with clinicians
- Ensure patients are billed in an accurate and timely manner
- Update and maintain confidentiality of patient records
- Communicate, liaise, and coordinate duties with other administrative and reception staff in the clinic and throughout other MQ Health and affiliated clinics
- Reconcile end-of-day cash/EFTPOS and undertake associated banking tasks
About You
You will be a proactive and professional individual with excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise work, and a high level of accuracy.
Previous reception and administration or customer service-related experience is essential.
