Disability Support Workers are sought after to provide high-quality 24/7 care in supported independent living environments.
">Key responsibilities include supporting individuals with their daily living activities, providing domestic and personal care assistance, and helping customers connect with their local communities.
">The successful candidate will be able to maintain a safe and nurturing environment for customers, work across a range of needs, and be available to work varied shifts including weekends and overnight shifts.
">Position is 35 hours per fortnight.
">Responsibilities">- Support people in their day-to-day living activities and provide quality 24/7 care in supported independent living (SIL/Group Homes).
- Provide domestic and personal care assistance and help customers connect with their local communities.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for customers and work across a range of needs.
- Be available to work varied shifts including weekends and overnight shifts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills and the ability to develop positive relationships.
- Resilience, confidence, and the ability to obtain the NDIS Worker Screening Check prior to commencement.
- Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs, smartphone and current Driver's Licence.
