Your expertise will be instrumental in protecting our information assets and ensuring their integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust enterprise security solutions that align with industry frameworks and standards.
- Develop and document procedures and controls to mitigate threats and meet compliance requirements, while continuously assessing and improving security protocols.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments for new and existing platforms, recommending strategic improvements to enhance overall security posture.
- Respond effectively to security incidents, employing skills such as threat detection, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident review.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge base articles, playbooks, and security documentation, ensuring seamless communication among team members and stakeholders.
- Provide valuable input on security requirements for vendor contracts, RFPs, and SOWs, fostering collaboration and mutual understanding across departments.
Requirements:
- Hold tertiary qualifications in IT, Information Security, or a related field.
- Possess relevant industry certifications, such as CISSP, SSCP, CCSP, CEH, or Microsoft Security Suite.
- Demonstrate at least 3 years of experience in a similar cyber security engineering or related role, showcasing a strong understanding of security frameworks, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and reviewing enterprise security solutions, including hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, NDR, EDR, XDR, and Microsoft suite tools.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver engaging security awareness training and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
