Culture and Programmes Coordinator

  • Leading a team of creative professionals and fostering a positive and inclusive culture.
  • Developing onsite and digital programmes including tours, events, learning and schools programmes, fellowships, and cultural experiences.
  • Clearly defining programme streams and projects, managing budgets and supporting a financially sustainable model.
  • Ensuring programmes are delivered within agreed time, budget and scope, and within a seasonal operating rhythm.
  • Contributing to the development of a three-year programme plan and business model aligned with our strategic plan.
  • Developing strong relationships through external networks and connections to identify high-quality artistic talent and broker programme partnerships.
  • Forming project teams from across the organisation, engaging staff with specialist skills and allocating resources effectively.

As a collaborative leader with good cultural awareness, you will have:

  • A deep understanding of cultural programming, designing experiences within a learning context.
  • Experience in initiating and developing events, programmes or cultural experiences in a relevant sector.
  • Knowledge and networks in cultural programming, learning and schools programming, artist engagement and creative partnerships.
  • A creative problem solver with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills.
  • A recognised qualification in a relevant discipline or appropriate professional experience.
