About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Building Certifier/Surveyor to join our NSW Commercial Certification team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading, assisting, and managing a wide range of Class 2 to 9 building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and determine Construction Certificates, Complying Development Certificates, and Occupation Certificates for various building projects.
  • Attend site inspections and client meetings to provide building compliance advice and investigate customer requests.
  • Develop and implement business improvement strategies to enhance our services and customer experience.
  • Assist Team Leaders in mentoring junior staff and representing Buildcert at industry events and functions.
Requirements
  • Unrestricted registration (A1) or restricted (all classes of building) registration (A2) with NSW Fair Trading.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Diploma in Building Surveying or Bachelor in Construction Management.
  • Industry experience assessing and determining Construction Certificates, Complying Development Certificates, and Occupation Certificates for all classes of buildings.
  • Construction Induction Card and strong safety mindset.
  • Current drivers license and legal work rights in Australia.
