The Q-CTRL Platform has grown rapidly; from a single product running as a single container to a diverse and distributed system.

We seek an experienced Security Expert with expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems to join our Infrastructure team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building robust security systems to maintain the highest security standards for products and ensure customer trust.
  • Strengthening platform security through contribution to key systems like cloud networking, Zero Trust Network architectures, and firewalls.
  • Consistently upholding compliance with security frameworks and customer engagements through process improvement.
  • Applying knowledge in Forensics & Incident Response to champion the Incident Response process and raise alerts based on observability.
  • Maintaining vulnerability management systems to improve key security metrics.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of operating Kubernetes in production; managing helm charts/operators, security configurations, and workload hardening.
  • Cloud networking experience, including knowledge of ZTNA and secure network access.
  • Experience with firewall technologies, both at a cloud and application level.
  • Experience maintaining a vulnerability management system, including delivery of threat modelling and risk register engagements.
  • Experience working with SIEM/SOC tooling to identify and triage security alerts.
  • Experience using open-source observability tooling to set up security alerting and alarms.
