As a Security Specialist - Assistance, you will join a fast-paced team providing professional and effective security assistance services to clients by addressing security threats and risk challenges.

This role offers opportunities to work on global scenarios, including major world crises. Our security teams provide support to significant events.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality security risk assessments, advice, and coordination of security assistance on a profile and itinerary-specific basis.
  • Receive and assess all security-related calls and ascertain the assistance requirements of our clients.
  • Provide security advice to callers, employers, employees, and organise appropriate security assistance accordingly.
  • Contribute to operational readiness by carrying out tasking to maintain and develop our security provider network and internal Concepts of Operations.
  • Coordinate and oversee responses to security requests for assistance, including the production of Plans of Action (POA) for specific Requests for Information (RFAs).

The Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of political and security landscape within Australia, New Zealand, and Pacific Islands, and global security issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to explain complex situations to non-expert audiences.
  • Ability to critically analyse multiple streams of information under time pressure.

The Qualifications:

  • Minimum requirement of degree level (or relevant professional training) in a field related to security, risk management, international politics, or international relations.
